MsPBnJ: Where is Lucy?
LuigiDMuse: Oh, she's inside Jim's head right now, sprinkling ideas into his head.
MsPBnJ: Coooool!!
MsPBnJ: Jim needs some new ideas!
MsPBnJ: <BG>
LuigiDMuse: I know, was gonna be his muse, but Lucy got to him first! She knows that dream trick, and she will not teach me!
LuigiDMuse: <<<sprinkling muse dust on your head >>
MsPBnJ: what a naughty sister she is, huh?
MsPBnJ: aaaaaahhhhhchoo!
MsPBnJ: Once upon a time in a land far away there lived a .....
LuigiDMuse: a blacksmith?
MsPBnJ: Geeee.......where did that come from?
MsPBnJ: a blacksmith named Hugo.....
LuigiDMuse: Whoa, there human, lemmes finish sprinkling, sheesh you chomp at the bit, dont ya?
LuigiDMuse: Blacksmith, son of knight comes to him for sword, the son decides to be blacksmith, dad's pissed, ok, now do your thing ......
MsPBnJ: Hugo had a great shop on the edge of the forest. He was known for his way with making the strongest swords around.
Hard work always made Hugo happy
and so when the local knight's son called Page came to see him, Hugo was delighted to help Page place an order for a broadsword
and a dirk!
Hugo started work immediately and Page stood watching him.
Before long Page had asked to help Hugo
So Hugo handed him a hammer and soon they were working in unison...one hammer blow after another struck the iron
forging it into the best dirk around.
When twilite was upon them they quit and Page got his horse to return home but
on the trail he saw his father the Knight called Les, cause he never had Moor...
Page waited on his father to come to the shop
knowing he was in trouble again.
Seems that Page was having a problem with his Knight studies.Page didn't want to be a Knight much to his father's dismay.
Page wasn't sure what he want to do until today!
When Les, the Knight, got off his horse and asked Page what the problem was, Page blurted out that he wanted to learn the blacksmitty business.
A dark thunder cloud formed above Les's head as he stormed into the shop and confronted Hugo.
Hugo, being a huge man and not afraid of a Knight without armour, stood his ground.
"So, what's your problem, Sir Les?", Hugo asked.
Then Hugo held up the gleaming dirk so that Les could see it.
"Your son made this today", said Hugo.
Les was astounded as he held the perfect dirk in his hands.
He looked at Hugo and then at Page.
Page was hiding in one of the stalls looking over the rails.
Hugo, in the meantime was waiting for Les to speak
and when he did Hugo was surprized for Les demanded that Page go home and never come here again.
Hugo just shrugged his shoulders and Page climbed on his horse,
back to the estate house they trod. Page with his head hung down and Les with his pride still intact.
Upon their arrival home, Ms. Knight, called Jana, came outta the house. She was as mad as a wet hen. This being a small hamlet, the news had reached her before the men got home.
When Les got down off his horse Jana tore into him full fury!
She was all for Page being a smitthy. She knew that the time of Knights was almost over and a young man needed another trade.
So in the end, Les had to give in and let Page learn the blacksmithing trade.
And Jana, being the wise woman she was, knew that she would have the finest kitchen utinsilies in the hamlet.....
which was way better for her, cause she also knew that Knights would soon be a dime a dozen!!!
done?
LuigiDMuse: I like being your muse! You tell good tales.
MsPBnJ: cooooool!!
MsPBnJ: <BG>
MsPBnJ: I think your bias tho.
